 The Casso FAQ Written by: #712 Starting Off First thing I would do when you first create your casso, is put up a welcoming note on the front page. Even if you dont have a layout or any thing for you page yet, always put some sign to show that you and your casso are active and preparing. After that, be sure to go to the Accepted Breeds and Accepted Games lists to accept some breeds and games. If you don't do that, then nobody will be able to register their dogs in your casso. Get an ensign made by either someone else or make it yourself. Make sure to start your casso raffle and casso stat contest (In Admin Tools) to give your members something to do. Also, make a welcome post on your casso message board and ask everyone to introduce themselves maybe. Ask for ideas and suggestions and see what your members would like to see in your casso future. Mainly be a good casso leader and your casso will grow better. ;) General Where are the casso's? How do I find one for my breed/game? How do I create my casso? Click on the Atlas and scroll down underneath the map. There's a big image there, can't miss it. How do I find one for my breed/game? At the top of the main casso page is a link to search casso's. How do I create my casso? First of all, you must be an elite to create your own casso. At the top of the main casso page is a link that says 'Create a Casso'. Click that and follow further instruction carefully. How do I find out how many casso's I am a part of? At the top of the main casso page is a link that says 'Casso Memberships'. How do I join the casso I want? At the casso you want, on the right side is a menu. At the top of that menu is a link to join. There is a joining fee. Why should I join a casso? Just because you can? Because, you can enter contests and say that you are a part of a club. -nod- How do I register the dog/s I want? In the menu of the club, click on 'Dogs' then go to 'View Accepted Breeds/Games' to find out if you are able to register your dog in that casso. If the breed of your dog is on the list, and that dog is trained in at least one of the accepted games, it is able to join. Go back to 'Dogs' and click 'Register a Dog'. If your dog breed/game is not on the list you may not register that dog in the club. I clicked the 'Join Casso' link, but it says I am still not a member? Some casso's require approval of becoming a member. You'll just have to wait until they accept you or reject you. You will be notified if you are accepted. I joined a casso, and registered my dogs, but they aren't on the 'Registered Dogs' list!? Some casso require approval of dogs to be registered. Again, you'll have to wait till they accept or reject. You will be notified if your dog/s have been accepted. What if I entered the wrong dog in a casso? Click on 'Dogs' on the right and then go to 'Remove Registration'. What if I don't wanna be in a casso anymore? Click the 'Leave Casso' link on the right, you do not get a refund of your joining fee and when you leave, your dogs are removed from that casso as well. Can my dog be in two casso's? No. One casso per dog. Can I be in two casso's? Yes. You can be in as many casso's as you wish. How do I add my dog to the casso stud list? Go to the 'Dogs' link, then to 'Stud List' and then to 'Create Listing'. How do I view how much money is in the casso pot? Click the 'Statistics' link on the right. How can I donate money to a casso? Go to the Statistics page of the casso. At the bottom is a place to donate money. Will there be casso shows? No. Instead of shows, we got contests. ;) What are staff members? Staff members are part of the staff of the casso. They help out keeping the casso updated and running. What more can I say? How do I become a staff member of a casso? The owner of the club is the only person who can make you a staff member. So, they have to choose you to become one. How do I link to my favorite casso? Click the 'Link to Us' link on the right and copy the html that you want to add, and paste it on your page or where ever. Admin Tools How do I edit the html on my casso home page? Click the 'Admin Tools' link on the right and then to 'Edit Layout'. I messed up the html on my casso, can I reset it? Yes, go to the main FP help page, and there is a link to reset your casso page. How do I upload my logo to FP for my casso? Go to 'Admin Tools' on the right and click 'Ensign Upload'. Yes, you upload your ensign to FP. But there is a size limit. How do I change the name of my club? Admin Tools, then to 'Edit Layout'. How do I change the joining fee of my casso? Admin Tools, then to 'Edit Layout'. Can I change it so all members and dogs need approval to join? Yes. That is also in the 'Edit Layout' section. How do I change the acceptable dog breeds in my casso? Admin Tools, 'Edit Required Breed List/Game List'. Select only the breeds/games you want in your casso. How do I change the stud list requirements? Admin Tools, 'Stud List Requirements'. What if I dont want to own my casso anymore? Can I delete it? No, you cannot delete a casso. But, if you do not want to run it anymore, you need to remove everyone and every dog fomr it, change the settings so that it requires approval to join, and make the titles 'Club Closed'. How do I see what members have sent in applications for my casso? Admin Tools, 'Player Applications'. If there are any applications, it will show you how many in bold on the main Admin Tools page. Same with Dog Registrations. How do I remove or block a member or dog from my club? Admin Tools, 'Remove or Block Member/Dog'. Select the action, (remove dog, remove member, block dog, block member), then type in the player/dog ID #. How do I view a list of members/dogs I have blocked? Admin Tools, 'Blocked Member/Dog List'. Can I unblock a member or dog? Yes. Go to your 'Blocked Member/Dog List' and click the [x] next to the member/dog you want to unblock. How do I promote a member of my casso? Admin Tools, 'Promote Member', put in the number of the player of your casso you wish to promote. What does a promoted member or staff member do? A staff member will help keep the casso updated and such. A staff member has acess to everything you (the owner) does, Except the promote and demote pages. How many staff members can one casso have? One casso can have three staff members, not including you, the owner. Can I demote a staff member? Yes. Admin Tools, 'Demote Member'.
