This is my 'Rescue' side of Furry-Paws. There's not much to say here, so I'll just use it to keep people updated.

My Goal

I started actually raising dogs (instead of just using the site for art), and decided to open up a rescue again. In real life, I try to rescue all the strays that I can. It doesn't go over well with my dad, and most of the time they get sent elsewhere. :( Anyway, my goal is to rescue any 'strays' I find on site, and also bring in unwanted dogs. So basically you could call it a humane society.

Adopting A Dog

Step 1:
Place a Bid

My rescues have a small adoption fee. Generally it is $2500FPD, although if it has Excellent stats it may be slightly more. It will never be more than $5000FPD, the price of a store bought dog. This ensures that the dog is going to a good home. Bidding more than the adoption fee will not garuntee you getting the dog.

Step 2:
Follow the rules

I don't want my rescues going somewhere that they won't be cared for. I watch your kennel for a couple of days before you'll get your dog.

Step 2:
Love your new friend

All of my dogs come with:

1 Food bowl

1 Water bowl

1 Bag pupper stuffer

1 Rawhide chew

1 Bed

1 Proper toy

1 Collar*

1 Leash*

*If already given one.
After I accept your bid I will send you the items that do not automatically come with your dog.

REMEMBER!

Bidding more than the adoption fee will not garuntee that you will get the dog. You must care for your other dogs before I accept your bid. Any higher bid will be considered a donation.

Rules For Adoption

Things I look for in a kennel:

†Dogs cared for every day. I understand there are some days when you can't get on, people have lives other than furry-paws that interfere sometimes. Don't worry about that.
†Dogs that are shown. I see no need to show a dog if you're not going to breed them, so I won't worry about this one too much.
†There are some obvious things that I'll look for, but if I were to list them all it would be too easy to fake. Basically, just take care of your dogs :)

Things you should know:

†All of my rescue dogs will have the prefix of †LFR, standing for Lucy Furr Rescues.I will prefix them before I accept your bid. If you are seriously against having the prefix, please pm me and we can discuss this. More than likely, if you donate a handfull of items I can skip the prefixing.
†Dogs are usually priced at $2500, half the price of a store bought dog. Bidding more will not garuntee you getting the dog.
†If you no longer want your dog, please let me know. I will take it back, but I will not pay more than you paid.

Surrendering A Dog

Generally, I find dogs in need to bring into this rescue. I pay the fees that have been set up and then take them into my care.

BUT!

If you feel you can no longer care for you dog, you may surrender it to my rescue. There is no fee, but I will not pay for your dog. The point of this rescue is to help dogs in need, not to take dogs off of your hands. Feel free to send one my way if you no longer want him/her.

occasionally

I will pay for a dog if I believe I can get it rehomed. Feel free to ask me, but this won't really happen often.
