Welcome to Destination Canine-Sensation's Training Division!

This kennel is an extension of Destination Canine-Sensation. Unlike at DCS, the Training Division is a kennel where dogs abandoned, or sold for low prices, with Fair+ genes are taken in and brought up to their fullest potential. The breeding program at DCS also sometimes purchases dogs from the store that do not meet qualifications for breeding in the program, and they come here to reach their fullest showing potential and are made available for breeding services to help other players working from the ground up that may benefit from their genes.

All dogs at DCS: Training Division will be made available for breeding once they reach the appropriate age or level.

Please be aware that this is my side account, it is generally only in use Monday-Friday as my schedule allows and is otherwise locked (with exceptions). If you are trying to reach me regarding this account, please send me a message to this account, but it is helpful to also give me a heads-up on my main account DCS. A simple message just saying you've reached out to DCST is perfectly fine, I just prefer to keep messages separate so it's easier to manage.
Breeding Program
Breeding takes a backburner at this kennel. But that does not mean we forget the mission of the main branch of DCS. I am not responsible for verifying the quality of match for breeding requests received.

Male dogs will be made available for breeding requests once they reach level 15 or age 80, whichever comes sooner.

Female dogs will be made available for breeding requests once they reach age 80, regardless of their level. If DCS: TD has a stud available to breed the female, she may only be available for 1 outside breeding no later than 96 days before she will be bred in house.

Note: For some breeding requests I will follow up to see how the litters did. In the case of good matches and pups are available for reserve, I will typically bid. If the bid is acceptted and there is no Prefix attached, I will add the DCS prefix to the dog(s) and notation made in their description(s). DCS is the breeding kennel, so all dogs from breedings will have this prefix if possible. The DCST prefix is reserved for the idea that not all dogs will remain in with the program and some may even be adopted out.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

When you breed dogs, how do you determine your breeding pairs?
Currently I use the Online Breeding Pairs Calculator by LouCharly [PwS] (#1169335) to determine the best pairs. I use the number of HH and hh as well as the litter size. I am always aiming for lala, but where this is not possible I aim to bring "la" into the genotype or get the litter sizes to Medium, whichever is more favorable.
