Hello, there! My name is Kay, and I have played here on Furry Paws off and on since 2004. Life was crazy for a while, so I disappeared for a few years, only to come back recently.

You may recognize my tags and artwork from the old FP, where I was known as Vila. My style has changed, so I updated my old artwork when I rejoined Furry Paws in October 2014; thus, you might just see Squittens, Nessies, and unicorn tags floating around that were once sold by me years ago.

Any who, I am 29 years old and I live on the US Gulf Coast with my husband and our clowder of cats. I work for an e-commerce business on Amazon, but this is just me biding my time until we move to TX to start our mini-ranch. (In fact, the name of my kennel was inspired by the name of the future ranch, which in turn was inspired by Doctor Who.) The reason for the ranch is that I want more control over my food and how it is raised, grown, and prepared.

Some of my favorite shows include Doctor Who (couldn't you tell?), FarScape, Supernatural, Firefly, Community, Deadwood, among many, many others. I love to read, and my favorite authors include Terry Pratchet, Mercedes Lackey, Anne McCaffrey, Lisa Gardner, Tess Garritson, Stephen King, Dean Koontz (older books), Peter F. Hamilton, and the list goes on. As for other hobbies, I like to roleplay, doodle, make dream catchers, and tinker with code.
