My Lines: Store to Legacy
While I have a few lines that don't follow this rule, most of my lines are self bred from store dogs. I'm very selective when choosing my original store dogs to create my lines. One of the first goals in breeding is to eliminate all but the "lala" gene, allowing my future generations to ensure the largest litter sizes possible. Once the litter size gene has been well established into the lines, I focus on quality. Dogs are then bred to eliminate all "hh" and eventually genes are isolated and selectively bred until dogs are 24HH lala. THIS is when the line "begins". Up until this point, dogs are bred and labeled with a generic line name and information relevant to their breeding. Generations are tracked and lines are listed below under the Works in Progress (WIP) lines. Once a 24 HH lala dog is achieved, the WIP stage of the line is ceased, and the line itself will now be refered to as the starting point of the line name. Lines, breedings, and generations are all kept track of.
