My Goals

A Vizsla Breeder for Now December 10, 2017

So I started my adventure on Furry-Paws not too long ago with my first dog being an Akita named Arthur. However, my second day on the site I decided to start a breeding project. My goal was to start with a breed that was low in population and build it up. Mind you, this is my first breeding project so I'm learning, but I chose the Vizsla dog because it was low populated and cute. I began with two Vizsla adults and made a rookie mistake by breeding them immediately. I was excited what can I say? Anyways from there I've started my own line of Vizslas and hope to become a really great breeder one day! I might start a new project in the future, but for now my main focus is Vizslas.

Update on my Breeding Project

First registered Vizsla! December 10, 2017

Being new to the site, I'm honestly not sure how long it's supposed to take to register a dog into a Casso, but it took me about 4 days?Either way I'm super excited because if all is going well then I should have another 3-4 Vizslas registered by tomorrow. I'm going to start breeding my Vizslas at these levels: 5, 15, 25, 35, 45, 55, 65, 75, 85, 95, 105, and then retire them. I'm curios what the results of this will be. I'm also naming my Vizslas according to generation. So for example: First generation male named 'Able', and second generation female named 'Brittney'. I don't know how long it's going to take me to breed a 'perfect' Vizsla, but it's going to be fun getting there. This is all purely experimental.
