Garlics's Kennel

I love Irish Wolfhounds! Though, I have only met them once. I was very young, and I remember sitting in a car with my dad. He had to drop something off at someones house. When we pulled up, there were theses two GIANT white Irish Wolfhounds behind a barred gate. I will never forget how giant these dogs were. It was around the time I was actually afraid of dogs. But, I came to realize (at the time) that I was only afraid of little dogs. Pomeranians mostly. I was terrified of Pomeranians when they showed their teeth. Even now, the thought gives me goosebumps. There is just something about angry little dogs that freaks me out. The high pitched growling also contributes to it. Big dogs on the other hand are a huge part of my life. I've owed a Golden Retriever, Pit Bull, two German Shepherds, Great Dane/German Shepherd mix, and a Golden Retriever/Chow mix. I've always wanted an Irish Wolfhound, but after doing a ton of research, I can't own one at this time. They need a lot of room, early training, they have a short lifespan, and many health problems only after a handful of years. I'm responsible enough to know that it will be awhile until I should obtain one. But it's one of my goals. So once I live in the right conditions and save up more money, I will own an Irish Wolfhound!/ probably more than one haha.
