Shaleeta's Sighthounds

I plan to specialize in Sighthounds, though I've just started this year. I've begun with Wolfhounds, Sloughi, Saluki, Africanis, and Italian Greyhounds. I just started with Deerhounds, as well! I plan to work with all of the breeds eventually.

I breed for lala first, then perfect HH, then color. I'm focusing on Sloughi and Wolfhounds right now to get all lala 10HH+, once I've gotten there, I'll work on my other breeds further. I'd love to get more involved!

Current Kennel Plans:

Sloughi: We're almost at 100% lala, so I'm feeling good about generation three. Next generation I'll soft-cull all males that aren't lala, and all females that aren't lala or lla. After that, we'll be working towards EEEE, 24HH!

Wolfhounds: I'm working towards all lala, but I've also got a wonderful faded blue line that I'm working with, with another players (Violet) help. It's going well, and I hope to combine the lines soon.

Scottish Deerhounds: These will be the exception to my 86/98/110 breeding schedule, as I'd like to get the population up in general, but I only have so much room (I have 100+ SD already) --I'll be breeding instead at 40/98/110, or 40/101, depending on quality of the bitch.

Italian Greyhounds: I'm leveling a good lala male to breed with my females; the females are all locked until he's at least 60 days old.

Other breeds: I'm slowly working the other lines as I have time!
