The Pyramids
You enter a large kennel, seemingly themed after ancient Egypt. A dog softly woofs at you and trots up. It's a Pharaoh Hound. How fitting. Its collar is red with a scarab beetle-shaped tag. You look over the tag.
The dog's name is Sekhmet. Of course it is. You try to grab her collar, but she barks sharply at you. You back down, and the owner walks out
"Oh, I'm sorry! Sekhmet is my first dog and she's very obedient, so I let her walk around and greet visitors."
Oh. Of course. Sekhmet sniffs you warily and licks your hand. She looks down her nose at your feet, her eyes half shut and her lip curled to reveal her teeth. This dog knows that she is welcome here and she acts like she's better than you. You notice that the owner of the kennel is back, but you never realized that they left. They have two more dogs- a little Shiba Inu and a taller, older German Shepherd. You look at their tags. Anubis and Set. Right.
