Welcome to Howlin' Hearts! We focus on high quality, well-bred Basset Hounds with excellent genes and who excel in dog sports. I'm back after a looong hiatus and still getting my bearings, but my goals for this kennel are to breed Bassets (& other breeds I am passionate about, mostly scenthounds lol) who have:

High aptitude, lala, EEEE, 24HH

Attain their highest level

Double stats in their sport of choice

Focusing on tracking & scent hurdles with spd or stm boosted

~Other Breeding Practices & Standards~

Females never bred more than 2 times in a lifetime

Dogs bred at level 40+ only

Sidenote: I'm taking in Bassets and other breeds who won't be good potential breeders, but keeping them as pets with the goal of letting them excel as much as they can at their sport of choice and retiring them at their very best.
