Paws & Pups; Canine Rescue Sanctuary

Hey, If You Have Any Questions, Take A Look At Our Description: (The Following Is What We Are Hoping To Achieve Within The Next Few Months) (Still Working On This! Not Yet Completed!!!!!!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WHAT IS THIS PLACE?: This place is a sanctuary for many dogs. We care for each one until they are back to full health and maintenance. Until we find them a new home, they live out there days in a safe and happy place. ------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHY DO YOU DO THIS?: Here at Paws & Pups, we push to give our dogs the best lives possible. Many of them have suffered with unkept coats and with no food or water. That is why me and my team are working hard to insure that each dog that comes into our care finds a good home all the way until retirement. ------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------- HOW DO I "ADOPT" ONE OF YOUR DOGS?: Since we can't guarantee our dogs will go to a safe kennel/home we try to do the second best thing. Instead of selling them we do bids of around $500-$1000. Once we have gotten a few bids we will then check on the current maintenance of the kennels. We look for things like clean and well cared for dogs, along with just a nice kennel for the dog to call home. We do Not do highest bidder wins. ------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHY DO YOU DO BIDDING AND NOT SALES?: As mentioned before, we can't be sure if our dogs will find a good home. We do bidding so we can do a possible 'Background Check' of their kennels. It may not guarantee they will always be in a good home/kennel but it can help the odds. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR DOGS FROM?: !Do Not Hate On The People That Gave Up Their Dogs, It's Not Always Their Fault! We mainly get our dogs from 2 different sources, Sales and the Humane Society. For sales, we don't go for the dogs that cost a lot of money because they are usually well cared for to cost that high. The dogs we decide to buy are more around $0-$10,000. The cheaper and less cared for dogs are usually our main targets to rescue. negligence usually means that the owner can no longer care for their pooch. We find it important to rescue and take care of these dogs as long as we have the room. Our second source of rescuing dogs is the Humane Society. Most abandoned dogs go here and it is extremely important that we care for them. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT BREEDS OF DOGS AND STATS DO YOU USUALLY HAVE?: We commonly get dogs of all stats and breeds. I will have to do a count over a couple of weeks if anybody wants to know. (I Might Add It Here Later) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ARE ALL YOUR DOGS RESCUES AND ADOPTABLE?: About 90% of our current dogs are rescues and are as well adoptable. But not all of them are. About 10% of the rescues have become official residents here and are not for adoption. If there is no bidding symbol, it means that the dog is currently not adoptable. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- DO YOU MAKE A PROFIT FROM THIS?: While we could possibly make a profit, we're more of a Non Profit kind of Organization, (N.P.O). While this may be risky money-wise, we find it quite rewarding to see all our dogs grow up healthier and happier! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHAT ABOUT DONATIONS?: While we are grateful to everyone who chooses to donate, we aren't asking for handouts if you don't want to. Even though there have been some hard times, we also have some supporters who have helped us out of jams. If you don't want to donate, that's okay, we will still push and do our best to help these dogs. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This Is All I Have To Say For Now, Thanks For Taking The Time To Read This!
