Hi, my name is Heather. I'm in my thirties, disabled, and have way too much time on my hands. I've been on this game on and off for several years and I enjoy the heck out of it if you couldn't tell (woops).
Before I get to the rules, I want to address the elephant in the room. I have been told by a few people that my rules before sounded off putting and I just want to explain why. I have difficulty with tone and also I reaaaaaaaly am not good at this html stuff, so I have no idea how to italicize anything for emphasis or bold or anything of that nature! And honestly? Sometimes I'm just tired. I get sometimes 30+ requests a day and over half of them sometimes ignore my rules and I have them in place for good reasons, so its a bit exhausting.
With that out of the way---all I ask when asking me to unlock a dog is to send in the link for the dog you wish for me to unlock (doesn't apply to dogs who are still unlocked and being raised to age 80). I have been asked before why I don't manually search it myself. There are a few reasons. I have hundreds of studs, some of which can have similar names because I am forgetful, and I actually receive so many requests a day at times that some of them actually go missing. Yup, that's right. They disappear. I dunno if there's a limit or something that I don't know about, but yeah. A lot of the times I have no idea if the stud in question was used by the person who requested him because I can't find the message. So please have some patience with me and send the link. The link is in the address bar at the top of your page when you are looking at my dog's page. I do not need the link to your female, just to my male please!
I generally give a day or two before relocking (unless I've seen that the stud has been used or its a really valuable stud I would like to use for myself and hes on his last days, in which case I will give one rollover). I won't require compensation if you miss it. I'm not playing this game to make a profit in game. But I do ask that you try not to waste my dogs days. Thank you.
I raise 300 dogs at a time. Those 300 dogs are in the "currently raising" tabs. I generally prioritize dogs that I have bought from others over my own bred dogs simply because I don't want them to think I bought them just to hoard them and a lot of them are for breeds I have very limited stock for (because I'm not breeding them myself).
I know this is controversial, but I do NOT keep a stud past 101 days of age. I am aware that he can be used many times after that. However, it just isn't something I feel like doing. May this change in the future? Absolutely! But for now, once they reach 101 days of age they will be retired just like the females.
I am more than willing to help new players! I do have excess items sitting around (I buy in excess for a reason and this is one of them), so if you're a new player and having trouble, please don't be afraid to message me. We were all new at some point and some things can get confusing. The only thing is that I am not good at the gene parts of the game. It's simply not my thing and I don't understand it. I will do my best to explain everything else to the best of my ability, however.
All breedings or dogs sold on my account will be priced at 1500. This is to make them all Free to Play friendly. While I am able to dump some money into this account every month to top up my FP dollars, I am aware a lot of people are unable to do that and starting out on here is really difficult because the dogs of decent quality are priced really really high. I do not care what you do with any dogs you buy from me, or any puppies you breed from my dogs! Have fun how you see fit. It's a game!
Current Goals:
1. Finish raising the dogs I had in progress before I changed up my kennel
2. I want to get a few studs for each breed. If there are multiple colors, I will try to get a decent variety.
3. Get females for the new breeds I want to start working on and begin raising them up
4. Make a document keeping track of the breeds and how many studs I have
