I have one dog named Tex. He's a Border Collie part Lab (I'll put a picture down at the bottom of the page). He's 7yrs old but still a puppy at heart. He loves walks, chasing possums, playing with his toy tire, one on one time, belly rubs, and lots of other stuff! He prefers to sleep the day away, but when you're with him he wants to stay right by your side! He's very loyal, but prefers to stay away from strangers, he's very skittish of strangers (except kids, he loves kids). I got him from a nearby shelter in town. My dad wanted a pure blood border collie but the only one they had was a escape artist. So we looked around the shelter some, found a beautiful grey 6yo mutt, my dad went and asked about him but turns out he had hip problems and my dad didn't want to deal with that. So we were about to leave when I saw a kennel of puppies outside (and I loved puppies, I was 7 then, and I still love puppies) and asked to go see them. There were 4 puppies total, 2 pit bulls, one dachshund mix, and a little border collie/lab mix. He was just sitting there staring at us like he wanted us to take him home. So we begged my dad and he finally gave in, it was the best day of my life, ever since I could remember I begged for a dog. I'd like to say I rescued Tex, because 2 weeks after we got Tex the shelter closed down because they found puppies that they didn't know had rabies. I did once have a rabbit but she died a few weeks ago.
