No, dogs will not die. However,they will be unable to compete when they reach the age of 101 FP days and will be unable to breed at 111 FP Days. At that age it is best to Retire them. Retiring dogs frees up Kennel space by moving them out of the main kennel to a retirement list. You can still view your retired dogs. Note: All dogs automatically retire at the age of 120 FP days!
