**Kennel Policy: Dog Retention and Breeding Guidelines** **Dog Retention Criteria** Dogs under Level 10 are given a grace period during which their primary objectives are to earn at least one gold medal and generate some income, regardless of the amount (even as little as \$1). If a dog fails to meet these minimum standards by Level 10, it will be considered for rehoming. Once a dog reaches Level 10 and has successfully achieved one gold medal and earned any amount of money, it is no longer at risk of being rehomed. From this point forward, they must continue to earn money in each competition—again, any amount is acceptable. **Breeding Policy** Litter size is determined by the dam’s genetic makeup: * **lala**: Large litters * **LL, Ll, or Lla**: Medium litters * **ll or lla**: Small litters **Important Notice:** Breeding a female more than twice will negatively impact litter quality. Overbreeding a single female will significantly reduce the overall quality of her litters, even when compared to similar genetic pairings.
