About me

I am a norwegian girl, born in 1981 - makes me kind of grown up, but I dont pay much attention to my age any longer. ^_^ I love dogs, I love to draw = so I love Furry Paws. Have been playing on and off for a looong time now, 5 years + actually.. Right now I am working on my forever elite and to get the Parson Russell terrier approved here.

The Parson Russell terriers and the other dogs

My husband and I wanted a dog who could keep up with us, and we wanted a small sized dog, but still 100% dog. And we wanted a healthy breed. Because of this Parson Russell are the perfect breed for us. Now we have 4 Parsongirls here at home with us, and we also co-own 1 girl and 3 boys. I, Ida, have become more and more interested in hunting over the years, and I go fox and badger hunting with my Parsons. They love it, and it is so fun to see them work like they were breed to work by the reverend John Russell. In the future I hope I am able to test my dogs on fox (go-to-ground), and we also train our dogs in blood tracking. We train agility, mostly for fun, and to keep both me and the dogs in ok shape. We also have two Jack Russell terriers; Lotta (Lucky Jacks Andora from kennel Lucky Jack) and her daughter Irma (The Russell Yards JR Boomerang). In the spring of 2010 we added another breed to our growing pack of dogs, and we are now owned by a Pharaoh hound, Al Mozel Ghost Whisperer, we call her Anubis/Nubis.
