Welcome to my kennel! I specialize in Malamutes, Ainu, Redbones, Irish Setters and Wolfhounds, German Shepherds, and Huskies, but will rescue dogs of any breed - and I've wound up keeping a few rather than adopting them out to good homes. I am also starting a line of Xoloitzcuintle dogs from a pair I bought when they first became available, now that I'm back from another long break.
- More later if I think of it.
Buying/Adopting/Breeding Rules:
- If I have a dog up for private sale, I -will- check out your kennel to see how well your own dogs are doing before accepting a bid. Their overall condition should be about 70% and they should appear to have been entered into as many shows as possible on a regular basis. (i.e Leveled and titled.)
- I don't breed before level twenty and/or age 88. I'll prefer even higher levels once my own dogs start doing better.
- I won't accept breeding requests unless dogs in your kennel are obviously being cared for!
I created my main account on Furry-Paws BETA December 1st, 2005, and the first dog I purchased was a male Redbone Coonhound that I named Akage. Soon afterward I purchased a second dog, Kiri, a female Ainu Dog. Being very new to the game I was not planning ahead, merely poking at things and figuring out how they worked.
Eventually, of course, I settled in, and began to expand my kennel and breed for better dogs. At least two of my bred starter dogs on the new Furry-Paws are direct descendants from my two original dogs, who can be found in the Memory Garden. The other dogs in the Garden are Aki Hime (Akage's mate), several early rescues that did better than my originals, my two highest-leveled dogs on the old game, and my best Siberian Husky.
I did go on an extended hiatus for almost four years due to financial troubles and lack of time to play, but I have sold art in the forums, contributed to the Image Bank, donated money to FP and participated in at least one of the charity drives. My kennel size reached 31, and while neither of my original dogs advanced any higher than Level 7, several of their descendants won Best of Breed ribbons and World Champion titles.
Here's hoping I'm able to stay active and enjoy the NEW Furry-Paws as much as I did the old!
