Welcome to Eternally Dark Danes Established in 2006

Eternally Dark Danes originally bred only solid black European type Great Danes but now I breed all colors. I do still prefer black but I also like all the other colors as well. All our dogs are heavy built, European blooded, imported Great Danes, that look closer to Mastiffs than most American bred Danes. Great Danes are a Mastiff breed and should always look like that. Slimmer American Great Dane are becoming too much like Greyhounds to be true Great Danes anymore no matter their so called pedigrees. (More than sure they have been cross breeding Greyhounds or some other sleek skinny sight hound in but are claiming another Great Dane as the parent to keep them purebred.) I breed mainly for color as well as healthy Great Danes. I'm not very active so I train my dogs in Showing and Obedience unless the dog will not do good in either. Though I do try my hardest to breed for healthy dogs when breeding for color it is very hard to do. So please don't flame me for breeding dogs with a fair in their health report.
