ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Marsbar! (although you may remember me as licky8, I played by that name for years!) I have an immense love for dogs, especially German Shepherds, in case you hadn't noticed! The two lights of my life are my IRL critters: Piper, an 9 year old Lab/Valley Bull mix, and Marlie, a 13 year old Solid Bred Paint mare!

ABOUT DEUSTCH HUNDEN

Deustch Hunden litterally translates to, 'German Dogs' in German. Here I breed and care for many German Shepherds. In 1889 Max Von Stephanitz created the German Shepherd. I love the breed, always have. I love their loyalty, intelligence and their willingness to learn! I look forward to the day when I have my own IRL. I've also recently taken on some newer breeds: Dobermans, Great Danes, German Shorthaired Pointers, Weimaraners, Belgian Malinois, Belgian Tervurens, Dutch Shepherds, Vizlas, Weimaraners, American Pitbull Terriers, Australian Shepherds, and more.

BREEDING

Before being bred, my dogs have their Vacinations and Genetic Health Tests current. My pups get their Gene Tests, Genetic Health Tests, and Vaccinations on their first day. They are given Lacrima Healthy Puppy chow from day 2 to day 6. I always work on socialization to sound, touch, bite inhibition daily. That routine is the same for every litter.
