Old Memories, New Experiences

Don't forget where you came from, but don't let it drag you down. Let go of past hurts, and move on to better things. Don’t let anyone tell you what you can be or who you are. You do you, pal.

Introduction

Hello! My name is Alexa and I love FP! However I work a lot and don't have time to play as often as I'd like, so when I do play I try to play as minimally as I can 'cause I get burnt out easily. My ADHD allows me to hyperfocus for a while, but I usually can't hold that level of interest for too long. I love dogs, I currently have a little Chihuahua named Tiki and a big German Shepherd Dog named Chief. My first job was actually inspired by dogs; when I was 8 I organized my own dog walking business (I made little shirts and everything, lol). It wasn't super official, but I did have a few clients who kept me coming 2-3 times a week to walk their dogs. I kept that business going until I was 13, and got too busy with school and life to continue. Currently I dog-sit/house-sit frequently for neighbors and family. I have been playing on and off again for over a decade, and I love how this game keeps improving and growing. My social anxiety is real bad, so while I will almost always accept a friend request, I probably won't say much, and I'll let any initiated conversation die pretty fast. Any ways, enough about me, here are my dogs!

My Dogs

An introduction to my dogs and how I organize them. I am a very messy person, but some things I HAVE to organize. FP is one of those things.

1- Sports: My dogs are organized according to Breed Sport; meaning every breed is assigned to a specific sport. I look at the top skills that breed has, and match it to a sport that I feel fits the breed. It can be a little lopsided because some sports (Herding, Schutzhund, etc.) will have TONS of breeds while others (Sledding, Water Work, etc.) will only have a few, but oh well.

2- Breeding/Retirement: I am not super worried about genetics, I would like to see all my dogs have a continuing bloodline, so I try to work them in wherever I can. That being said, I will try not breed an all EEEE dog with anything less. I do want good genetics, I just also want all of my dogs to be accounted for.

3- Collecting: Hoarding things is a habit of mine so I am trying to collect pretty much everything you can in the game. (Dogs, critters, special items, etc. You name it, I'm trying to get it!) That helps because I’m a completionist so I want to get all the FP achievements too.

4- Rescuing: I am a sucker and feel sympathy for fictional characters/people/animals at the drop of a hat. Therefore I try to adopt as many dogs as I can from the Humane Society and "rehabilitate" them by cleaning them up and then sorting them into their respective kennels. I will also browse the dogs for sale every once in a while and see what I can find. Dogs that are in really bad condition I will usually buy as long as they are not too expensive. (I do not judge people who "abandon" their dogs or allow their conditions to get low on FP, IT IS JUST A GAME, I myself am just extremely soft.) If you have dogs you don't want anymore, I'm willing to purchase dogs up to a certain amount. Message if interested.

5- Naming: I try to keep some semblance of my "rescued" or purchased dogs original name, and I use this format: Callname = Nickname (Sue, Bobby, Rocket, etc.) and Fullname = Song Title, Phrase, or Idiom (Two Steps Forward - One Step Back, Another One Bites The Dust, etc.). If the Callname or Fullname fits my formula I will keep it and figure out something for the other name. If both names work, I keep it!

6- Mascots & Old Friends, Stars & Heroes: I have special kennels and creature pastures with animals that mean a lot to me, more info about the Mascots, Stars & Heroes are down below with their info on their own respective pages, and info about the Old Friends pets is below!

And that's about it! Without further ado, here are my dogs!

Mascots, Stars, Heroes, & Old Friends

I have kennels named "Mascots" and "Stars & Heroes" and a Critter Pasture named "Old Friends". These animals all are important to me in some way. Dogs have their description (Mascots - how I knew them and their personality, Stars - what media they're from, Heroes - their heroic actions) in the Description section on their page, Critters have their description here.

Mascots and Old Friends are animals I either owned/or took care of in real life. Critters are listed here in the order they appear in the Critter Pasture.

Stars are famous (usually fictitious) dogs from popular media, or media that influenced me as a child. Stars will also have ** around their fullname.

Heroes are real life dogs that became famous through their heroic deeds. Heroes will also have ** around their fullname.

Old Friends:

Willow - Rescue Tuxedo Cat - He chose us one day, just walked up and invited himself inside. He had no tags or chip, and nobody ever came looking for him. He was my childhood cat, and my best friend. He lived with us for about 16 years and reached 18 years old. He loved picking fights, and over the years picked up many battle scars; tattered ears, a scarred eye, and chipped teeth. He would walk me around the neighborhood, and invite himself over to the neighbors homes.
