UPDATE August 21, 2010. It seems I have far less time for the internet in the summer compared to during school. With that sad thought aside I am back after about a three month gap in activity -celebration-, and I return a year older and able to gamble in my state. Don't worry I only lost $10. I hope to return to what little showing glory I had (I had some!? lol) before I had to take a break. Thankfully my account was locked so no one aged :). Hopefully I will be around for a while this time.Also, you should know that I registered my kennel, finally! -Evil laughter- Silver Sun Kennels is now copyright, ©, and registered, ®, to meh! SSUN will be my prefix. Currently only Raider (Tombraider's Daughter) can technically have my prefix since I owned her mother, but an amazing CBR breeder bred her for me and therefore TWB is her actuall prefix, mines just in her name, but I'm okay with that. =D
Well lets see here... I am just getting started in this game so I don't have too much to say yet. I will be specializing in all hunting dogs, but hopefully Brittanies and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers more than others. Primarily because I have an AKC Brittany Spaniel named Pearls. On April 7, 2010 she will be 10 years old, yet she still acts like a puppy. And as far as the CBR's go my dad and his family raised them when he was a kid and holding on to an old CBR was how I learned to walk.
All below information probably doesn't really pertain to me quite yet, however when I am a mighty kennel, a force to be reckoned with, and a heard of and respected name it will.
REQUIREMENTS FOR
- You must feed, water, play with, run through a training area with, and show all dogs daily.
- I am almost begging you, always offer the dog back to me first before selling or leaving FP.
- I accept FPD and FPP as payment. Depending on the dog I may also accept rare items.
- Please don't bid on the dog with $0 as the minimum bid as I am either putting them on another account, or have a deal going with someone else already.
- Please don't ask if you can buy a dog that is not for sale. It won't be sold to you no matter what you offer (that's actually not true but moot point).
BREEDING
- My minimum breeding level is 15, however under certain circumstances I may lower it for you if you message me with plenty of time.
- If you are an Elite member I would appreciate getting offered SPOL before it is sold to "pet homes" or anyone else.
- I accept FPP and FPD as payment. I will accept the SPOL as either full payment, or partial payment depending on the breeding.
- Any male that is above level 15 will be studded, however I don't have that as an option because I would prefer you PM me before you ask to breed.
- My rate is the common rate; 1000FPD x level. I will accept FPP, but I have a certain FDP/FPP exchange so please PM me for details.

Teri Just Do It (Nike)
This guy is my first English Setter purchase. I found him up for public sale at age 55 for $20,000. He has spdspd spdspd in his genotype and his speed was at 63 at purchase. He was somewhat of a rescue because his status was; starving, dehydrated, mopey, and filthy. Also lacking both collar and leash, however, he did have a bed. After a name change and training his first day of showing earned him the JPn title (full 30 places), level 2, and $3,205. Big things to come from Nike.
This magnificent little puppy came from a nice CBR that I half-rescued... I belive.. that may be a lie.... Anyway she was older when I bought her but I leveled her as much as I could then sent her to someone I would like to call a friend for helping me have a litter from her even though she had not met their breeding requirements. I am expecting big things out of this pup.
K9 IN REAL LIFE
My first name means industrious and my last name allegedly means valley.. Google those and I am sure you'll get an answer (whether its right or not is a whole different subject). I am a senior in High School now and I am not sure how to feel about that. My whole class is relatively close as those in a small town become. I live in Big Sky Country in the Treasure State. Currently I am involved in 4-H (...still.. don't judge!), ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association), and school golf (my first year- I started a bit late). I love animals, particularly canines, and hope to go into Pre Vet at the local(ish) university!
