about the kennels
Here at Bella Prosaica Kennels we raise champion West Siberian Laikas, with the intention of boosting the breed and one day hosting the best Laikas on FP. At the moment, most of our breedings are kept within the dogs of the kennels, but once our kennel goals have been met, we'll be opening up to public breedings more frequently.
We currently only have a few in-kennel goals that we wish to achieve, with these goals being:
*24 HH genes
*Gold and Silver colourings
*A focus on strength and speed stats
*High experience multipliers.
about the dogs
All of our dogs at Bella Prosaica will be trained to suit the shows that suit them best. At current, we do not have a focus on specific shows or training, but instead focus on what is best for the stats and the dog. If you have specific requests on what foci you would like from a pup, please don't hesitate to ask!
Although we try and limit outside breedings, we do offer pups to the public once I have chosen my pick of the litter and have offered the other pups to friends/fellow Laika breeders who have previously expressed interest in a pup. At this time, dogs are bred once at 100 days, but sometimes additional breedings will occur.

other services
layouts
Once upon a time, I used to regularly offer layout commissions. Due to the amount of time I have been absent from this type of commission, and the lack of practice, I no longer offer this commission, unless you are willing to wait a while for me to get back into the gist of things, and are patient (as well as willing to pay the appropriate amount). However if you're desperate, I highly recommend the services of sugar #988690 and Island Breeze #21 if their services are open.
tag recolours
I do not offer these as standalone commissions, but instead I will link any open sales that I have with tag recolour slots available. In the future, I may also open up past bases I have used for such a purpose. All currencies will (usually) be available, with the exception of a few sales.
character design
I very rarely offer character design slots, but if/when I do, I will use lines that I have purchased. My drawing abilities are not currently up to the standard that I am happy to sell characters on! If you are interested in a design being done, feel free to message me and ask. I don't really have these open or closed, but I'm willing to discuss ideas.
characters
All of my characters can be found here. A selection are listed below - all of which are different species.rhea
Rhea is one of my main characters, and is the nearest thing to a fursona that I have - I do not, however, identify with the use of fursonas. She is a combination of many fox breeds, but can be drawn as a generic fox.
elsa
Elsa is a newly acquired character who I have come to love. She is loosely based off the character of the same name from Disney's Frozen and shares the same ability, but also can manipulate other aspects of the weather (she does, however, favour snow/ice). She is a West Siberian Laika, and is of average size for a female.
oscar
This guy was the beginning of my love for anteaters, and he's now the centre of a family group that has begun to feature on FP. He is involved with another anteater I own, Mina, and has two children: Dax and Shirin. It is not known if he is likely to have more children, but it might be best for everyone if he's left to his grumpy self!
farsi
Farsi is technically based off of two cats that my ex-boyfriend owned, but has developed into a character of his own right. He is conveniently my only true feline character, meaning he gets spoiled whenever a feline base is available. He is known for being a ninja, and belongs to my 'Night Watch' group of characters.
misha
A Native American horse, Misha loves to run free in the wild, and is extremely wary of humans. She is now my only equine character, although I do also own a deer character named Dasin (who I'm questioning whether to 'breed' to Misha). In any case, she's also one of my more natural designs.
sin
For a long time I dreamt of owning a character who was either Sin, or was somewhat similar to her. She was a 'dreamie' of mine back on FP beta, so when Kasmut put her up for sale, I didn't hesitate. She is a peguma (pegasus x puma), and as far as I am aware the only one of her kind.
celest
After some time of wanting a bright, tropical styled character, I managed to chance upon a sale by Beru with Celest's design still available. Celest is, currently, a corgi, but I have considered revamping her slightly into an Aussie, or some other breed.
